About Dr. Iqbal
Dr. Hafiz Iqbal is double board-certified in Nephrology & Hypertension and Internal Medicine, and serves patients at Consultants in Kidney Diseases in Hamilton, NJ.
He completed medical school at Allama Iqbal Medical College followed by residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Nephrology at West Virginia University School of Medicine.
He is passionate about taking care of all aspects related to the field of nephrology, including but not limited to diabetic nephropathy, hypertension, acute kidney injury, chronic kidney disease, glomerular disorders, kidney stones, cystic kidney diseases, electrolyte abnormalities, end-stage-renal disease including managing both hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis and management of kidney transplant patients.
His practice is patient focused, and he believes very strongly that each patient has unique needs and goals and that it is important for him, as their physician, to recognize this and provide personalized care to the best of his ability.
